Day 1: Arrival in Kigali

Arrive at Kigali International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to your accommodation in Kigali. Enjoy a visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial Center to gain insight into Rwanda's history and the 1994 genocide.  Explore the vibrant city of Kigali, visit local markets, and dine at a Rwandan restaurant for a taste of local cuisine. Overnight in Kigali.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Depart early from Kigali for the approximately 2-3 hour drive to Volcanoes National Park. Arrive at the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety guidelines Begin your gorilla trekking adventure. Treks can vary in duration, but you will spend approximately one hour observing a habituated gorilla family. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the lush forest. After trekking, return to your lodge.

Evening Relax and unwind at your lodge, reliving the day's incredible gorilla encounter. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Volcanoes National Park.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking or Optional Activities

Morning:After breakfast, embark on a golden monkey tracking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. Golden monkeys are another unique primate species found in the park. Alternatively, you can choose from other optional activities, such as visiting Dian Fossey's Karisoke Research Center or taking a scenic hike. Afternoon: Have lunch at your lodge. Late Afternoon: Check out from your lodge and depart for Kigali Enjoy a scenic drive back to Kigali.

Evening:Arrive in Kigali and visit local markets for souvenir shopping, if desired. Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, or you can choose to stay an extra night in Kigali if your flight departs the following day.
